The Superbet Group, one of the biggest betting operators in Romania, has entered the final stage of the negotiations for obtaining an online gambling license in Gibraltar.
Superbet will be the first business in Central and Eastern Europe to enter the Gibraltar Licensed Operator Club (Bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes), subject to the world’s most stringent online gambling legislation.
In the context in which it plans to develop its online sports betting business, Superbet has already opened an office in Gibraltar and the next step will be to increase its number of employees – from 20 this year to 50 at the end of next year.
